SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
HELPING THE NEGLECTED AND DEPRIVED SENIOR CITIZENS :
Our society helped provide emergency shelter to old age/ Senior citizens affected by
violence, and those who are neglected and no one is there to take care of or support them.
So, Kinara Vruddha and Matimanda Seva Trust heart goes out for them to give them some
kind of support and help. As we see that these old people are sometimes thrown out of their
homes and so many of them are on the streets, unable to do any kind of jobs because of their
age, and physical disabilities. We are reaching out by providing food and toiletry supplies.
We also distribute food supplies to the old and widows of our society from time to time.
From time to time we are visiting many tribal remote area by just giving our time as well as
basic things that are very helpful for them and we also share our love with them. We give
our time by spending time with them and listening to their stories. They feel encouraged
when we listen to them. Sharing their struggles, they have been holding in their hearts, as
they have no one to listen to their struggles
MAINTENANCE OF OLD AGE HOME ( FEMALE, OLD AGE HOME )
Through the Aged Maintenance management program we are providing services to the those aged who have been alienated from their family by way of giving them food, shelter,
Medicare as much as possible we have engaged them some activities like, garden cleaning, envelope making, greetings card making etc. to feel themselves as a creative contributor of
the society.
REACHED THE HOMELESS PEOPLE TO THEIR RELATIVES :
People experiencing homelessness are often disconnected with their loved ones. Some people of our old age home feel very lonely, in fact we provide a place that’s packed full of people But they said it’s a very lonely place. So, our volunteers of the organization make a schedule to visit their relative’s home and offers a chance for those individuals to reconnect.
DISTRIBUTED FOOD AT TRIBAL REMOTE AREA :
Kinara Vruddha and Matimanda Seva Trust always come to help the needy one. On the
occasion of Foundation Day 3rd February our members of the society come forward to
provide food to many remote areas of Pune district in Maharashtra, for poor tribal people and other old age people. We distributed rice, oil, Daal, detergent and some household Groceries to the poor and below poverty line families in Maharashtra. We distributed of food items to around 50 individuals in the Talwade area. More than 150 people attended inthis program the main aim of this initiative were to help people during their difficult times.
CONDUCTED MEDICAL CAMPS IN TRIBAL AREAS :
Kinara Vruddha and Matimanda Seva Trust organized a health check-up program in remote areas of Pune district for the tribal people, the programme was last 3days, we provide free health check-up and testing services, referral services, to the tribal people and
children and the persons belonging to the ST/OBC/ Minority & other aged persons of
surrounding areas.Through the Health check-up program our society has been trying to provide scope of increasing access of basic health services once in 3 days with a team ofqualified Doctor and trained personal of healthcare services.
These health programme aim at promoting health seeking behaviour in the long the long
term, thus, unlike a general curative health programme, these also majorly work on building awareness regarding common ailments, nutrition and hygiene and sanitation.
DISABLE AWARENESS PROGRAM AND DISTRIBUTED WALKERS, STRIKERS IN TRIBAL
AREAS FOR OLD AGE PEOPLE AND CHILDREN :
Kinara Vruddha and Matimanda Seva Trust organized disable awareness program in Pune district for the old age people and children. There were many people with the disability, they many required various aids for the daily need. So our society distribute Walkers, Strikers, Hearing aid to old age in remote tribal areas, These assistive devices can also help people with mobility like walking; they can also help people hearing, visibility and speaks easily.
All of which can range from a mild problem to complete immobility. Many people will have more than one disability, such as not being able to use their legs or hands. Also Our Kinara Vruddha andMatimanda Seva Trust member distribute several numbers instruments for disable children.
DISTRIBUTED USED CLOTHES IN REMOTE TRIBAL AREA :
Kinara Vruddha and Matimanda Seva Trust organized a Cloths distribution program Our society has been provided used old clothes to the needy Children, Male, Female, Old agepeople. The distribution program was organized with the help of a few Local donors, and the program successfully run in remote tribal areas of Pune. Our society has also distributed grocery items to old poor and helpless men & women in some villages.
WATER HYGIENE PROGRAMN IN TRIBAL AREA:
Drinking water, sanitation & hygiene awareness program was organized by the society in rural tribal area of Talwade. The main aim of the society is to provide pure and clear water. So the wells, tube wells & ponds were cleared with the help of the members of the society. The members of the society are aware of the public about water, which they use, and society also has been very active in the field of raising awareness about good sanitation facilities in the slum area. Lack of good sanitation is the curse of the majority of the urban population, disproportionately increasing; Population has made the situation more badly. All the efforts made by the civic come forward and help the civic authorities in providing sanitation facilities to more and more people.
